RESORT AT SQUAW CREEK
LAKE TAHOE - CALIFORNIA
Hello guys, so we all know this year has been rough for all of us. I finally had the opportunity to plan a getaway for my boys and I at the Resort at Squaw Creek in Lake Tahoe, California. It was my first time staying here ever and let me just say it was a dream. October is the perfect time to come here especially if you really want to feel the Fall weather. I mean the weather was perfect, it was in the low 70's and some of the trees were orange. I stayed for 4 days to really enjoy the scenery that Resort at Squaw Creek had to offer.
I mean first off, the mountain views are beautiful and they are have a Golf course.
Resort at Squaw Creek offers luxurious Lake Tahoe accommodations with grand picture windows that reveal sweeping views of the Sierra Nevada mountain range, ancient Ponderosa pine forests, and lush meadows. To complement the spectacular Lake Tahoe outdoor environment, each room and suite presents muted tones and rich textures, which create an inviting ambiance that helps you feel at home here in Squaw Valley.
The boys and I stayed in a beautiful room with the mountain views. Our room had 2 queen size beds, and I I got sleep in a queen size bed to myself. They did offer free WiFi, which was perfect for the boys to be able to play on their devices.
Our Squaw Valley accommodations and lodging range from deluxe rooms to fireplace suites and bi-level penthouses. Resort at Squaw Creek can provide luxury options for parties from two to nine people. You'll enjoy custom furnishings, slate entryways, ceramic-tiled bathrooms, granite vanities, and LED flat-screen TVs. Our suites and penthouses also feature gas fireplaces and resort kitchenettes.

They also offer dining.
Sandy's Pub was my favorite place to eat because you get to enjoy the Mountain views.
Whether you're looking for a burger or other hearty fare after a day outside, or a fresh green salad topped with salmon, Sandy's has got you covered. Along with 12 beers on tap and a ski-themed, comfortable atmosphere, Sandy's is the best place in Squaw Valley to watch a game or laugh with friends.
Here are some other places you can dine at:
Spa at Squaw Creek is open for massages and facials only. Guests are required to wear a mask at all times in the spa, including during treatments. The only exception for this rule occurs is during a facial treatment. Due to county restrictions, we are unable to open our steam room, sauna, showers, and jacuzzis (hot tubs) at this time.
THINGS TO DO
With top things to do in Squaw Valley including ski-in/ski-out access within our ski resort at Lake Tahoe, to our championship golf course and everything in between, the recreational opportunities here at the resort and in the surrounding Lake Tahoe area are virtually unlimited. Enjoy guided fly-fishing, 18 km of Nordic trails, a private ice rink, year-round outdoor swimming pools, access to miles of hiking and biking trails onsite, along with boating, rafting and paddle boarding on nearby Lake Tahoe. Activities at the Resort are always changing, so stay up to date with our online events calendar.

The boys and I really enjoyed swimming in the pools, and the water was heated which made it even better. Although the spas were closed due to COVID, I still enjoyed having a drink by the pool and watching how happy my boys were.
Hope you all enjoyed this blog post.
